Reservations Manager

Your main tasks will include:

  • Acting as Reservations manager for cross cultural team in Barcelona as well as a Senior Reservations Specialist for multiple destinations
  • Processing reservations through telephone & e-mail
  • Maintaining the in-house reservations systems; managing and providing training and work assignments to Reservations Specialists.
  • Using and teaching the team negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
  • Managing reservations team effectively
  • Monitoring reservations sales specialists while on phone calls.
  • Assisting in monitoring reservations forecast data.
  • Responsible for driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
  • Working closely with Guests, Homeowners, Property Managers, other Reservation Specialists to confirm reservations.
  • Assisting the reservations Team in providing customer service that will in turn grow revenue for the company.

You:

  • Speak excellent Spanish and English, French or Italian is a plus
  • Have a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management, or related major
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
  • Can multi-task
  • Are personable and love speaking / emailing with people
  • Are organized, quick and can multi-task
  • Are extremely detail-oriented and don’t mind administrative work
  • Are passionate about what you do
  • Your schedule:
    • 45 hours per week Monday-Friday + 2 weekend days per month + 50% of national holidays
    • Responsive via email outside of office hours - hospitality never sleeps!
